Today’s food world is rapidly evolving into global connection for people from all over the world. When I travel, I love to learn the heritage and culture through food. I take the time to taste, savour, absorb and connect. Creating a culinary experience for people to enjoy, explore and remember is what I thrive on. Nothing keeps my drive going more than making memorable moments from the kitchen to the table.
My earliest memories of growing up in Istanbul, Turkey with family and friends have always been accompanied with food. As a child, I spent hours cooking with my mother and grandmother which sparked my passion for food and its connective nature. At the Green Turtle Market, we focus on providing fresh farm to table cuisines that include local, sourceable and traceable foods with the freshest ingredients available. Switching my customer’s focus to their pallet and nutritional value, rather than just filling their appetite, is one of my greatest pleasures.
