Third Year Fashion Design student, Whitehouse Institute of Design, Sydney, Australia.
Designs with integrity that are innovative, risky and effortlessly functional.
I started making clothes because it came naturally and just made sense in my head. I could ‘see’ logically how the clothes were made and what I needed to do.
I remember there was a poster of a Whitehouse figure sketch on the wall of my year eight sewing classroom, and I thought ‘I want to go there’ …and so I did. I have always had a strong faith and wanted to couple my passion and creativity with something… well, more. Something where I could help people. I don’t want to make clothes for fashion’s sake… I just want to place value on people.
